Thanks for your interest in contributing
to this website.
We review optics-related press releases on the internet and would
be pleased to also visit your PR pages if we are not already doing
so.
However, it could be that we already know of your site but there
is a reason why it is not convenient for us to consider your news.
Websites that meet the following criteria are most attractive
to our news reviewers:
- Cookies not required except for ordering/purchasing products
online.
- Press Releases clearly marked as such - so we know that you
do not object to us using your material.
(We respect copyright and will not use material that is not obviously intended
for general use including republication.)
- Press releases in .htm, .html, or .php format (not .pdf, and
preferably not .doc format)
- Press Releases clearly dated.
(If we don't know when your information was released then we don't use it.)
If your company's optics-related news has not been included here
recently then we might not know about your website.
Please email a link to the "Press Releases" page of your
website to: submissions@optics-news.com so that, subject
to the above, we can visit it regularly and include your information
on this
website. Thank-you !
Don't have a "Press Releases" section on your website
?
If you don't have one then may we suggest that you add one ?
It's a great resource !
Non-corporate Optics News:
If you are a university researcher, research student, or private
individual who has recently had an optics paper published or accepted
for publication in a journal then
we'd be interested in your summary of your work. Obviously we cannot
use the exact words from your paper or abstract and we cannot re-print
any papers as this may breach the copyright of the journal. However,
we invite your summary of approx 800-1600 words plus any related
illustrations (diagrams or photographs, provided that you own the
copyright).
Summary of Terms:
Note that by sending your material to submissions@optics-news.com,
you give us permission to use your material on this website. In
some cases we may edit the text to maintain a consistent style
and use of English on these pages. We may also edit very long
articles e.g. if the page might otherwise take a long time to load.
All of the articles that we receive and accept for publication
on this website are fully acknowleged -
with
a link
to your
website
if you
have
one
and ask us (please include details).
