Timbercon Announces Polarization Maintaining (PM) Coupler / Splitters

Timbercon, Inc., a fiber optic product and solution manufacturing company, announced today the availability of Polarization Maintaining (PM) coupler / splitters for a wide variety of applications and industries. Timbercon has consistently provided custom solutions for many applications and has now standardized the most common configurations in coupler / splitters.

Timbercon coupler / splitters are used to either combine two (2) or more signals into one (1) or split one (1) signal into multiple paths. They are available in 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 1x8, 2x2, and 2x4 configurations with all industry standard fiber optic connectors - typically FC and FC / APC. Wavelengths supported include: 1550nm, 1310nm, 1060nm, 980 / 960nm, 780nm, and 633nm. Custom wavelengths, connectors and configurations can be discussed with an Account Manager. Each PM coupler / splitter can be purchased in either a ruggedized plastic housing with 3mm leads or a low profile stainless steel tube for high density equipment requirements. In addition to the standard PM coupler / splitter configurations, Timbercon still offers customized solutions for virtually any fiber optic application.
